It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we, the family of Naomi Lucina MacDonald, age 86, announce her sudden passing, peacefully, in her sleep, at home, on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
Born in Sydney Mines on April 26, 1932, she was the daughter of the late James and Annie (MacLean) McIntyre. Naomi will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Also left to mourn are her brothers Billy (Sue) McIntyre, and James (Gloria) McIntyre, and her sisters Margie Wall, Christina (Tene) (Wallie Gracie), and Sharon (Vince).
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her lifelong partner Clarence Fry, North Sydney, her daughter Gilda Gardner (Cashin, MacDonald), and her brothers and sisters Elizabeth (Lizzy), Effie, Katherine, Norman and Kenny.
Her family would like to send special thanks to her son Stewart, who was her caregiver for the last 13 years.
