We the family of the late, Stanley F. MacDonald, are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear husband, step-father, grandfather and brother on July13, 2019 at home surrounded by his wife, Debbie, and family. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie, step-children, Felicia(Bobby), Jolene, Jacob and Elmer(Leah), grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Logan, Emily, Elmer, Lilly and Joseph. He is also survived by his siblings, Byron(Linda), Clifford(Jocelyn), Brenda(Rich), Hugh(Joanne), Michael, and Mary(Victor), as well as sisters-in-law, Lucy and Joyce. Mother-in-law, Ruby(late Elmer)Lovell, in-laws, Helen, Robert(Bernadette), Georgina, Alice(Paul), Wanda(Ken) and Mae(Ian) and special friend Crystal, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, A.J and Johnena(Jessome) MacDonald, and brothers, Allan and Nelson.

He loved life and enjoyed keeping up with what was going on in the world. In his younger years, Stan played a lot of golf and pool and was very competitive at both.

The family would like to thank Stan’s doctor, Dr. Patrick O’Grady, the palliative care team, Dr. D’Intino, Dr. Burns, Dr. Ritter and all the nursing staff and paramedics who provided such excellent care during Stan’s illness.

The wake for the late Stanley F. MacDonald will be on Wednesday July 17, 2019 from 7:00 till 9:00 pm at J.M. Jobes Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Church with Fr. J.J. MacDonald presiding. Luncheon to follow at Holy Family Church Hall – everyone welcome.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice, or the Heart and Lung Foundation of Canada.

My deepest condolences to the MacDonald family on the passing of Stanley. In these times may you grieve by remembering the good times you shared. Please celebrate his live, in his honour as he would want you to do, with laughter, joy and a few good stories. May God bless you all.
