John Cyprian (Cyppie) LeBlanc, 72
Alder Point

With broken hearts we, the family of Cyprian LeBlanc regret to announce his passing on Sunday, September 22, 2019, in Halifax.
Born in North Sydney on April 24, 1947, he was the son of Mary and Cyprian LeBlanc Sr.
Cyppie was known for his generosity, love of his family, kindness towards others, and his fun-loving ways. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He had many close friends with whom he enjoyed playing cards, and enjoying music on Saturday’s at the Circle.
Cyprian is survived by his beloved wife Jane, daughter Suzanne, sons Roger (Tara), Adam (Andi), parents Mary and Cyprian Sr., grandsons Brandon, Karl, Cole, Rory and Camden, and great-grandchildren Brayden, Declan and Ellie. Also left to mourn are his brothers Hugh, Byron (Heather), and Gordie, sisters Charlotte (John), and Yvonne (Ian), many nieces and nephews who all loved him very much, and a special uncle Jimmy Broderick.
Cyprian was predeceased by daughters Nicole and Melanie.
There will be no visitation. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, September 26, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anne Church, Alder Point, with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Words of comfort may be forwarded to his family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com

Sippy,

Where do I begin, you were bigger than Life to me, Your Heart larger than Cape Breton Island, the Love you had for Jane & Your Family was Huge, They were your Everything. How is life ever going to be the same without you. Your infectious Smile would always light up the room, always Joking, always Teasing, always Trusting. Your Kindness Immeasurable, so Humble and Always there for everyone. They broke the mold when you were made. I am so Honoured to call you my Friend, The person who was always there to Listen, to give Advice, to give a Hug. I will miss all of this so much, a lot of people will. I hope you know how much of an impact you had on so many people, so many hearts you have touched. You will never be forgotten Sip, we will still play the Side Games & Your Name will be mentioned, Always. You Certainly Have your Wings Now, Soar with your Girls, Watch over us, We will see each other again. I love you Dear Sippy, Rest in Peace. Always in My Heart April xoxo

Mary and Cippy, so sorry to hear of Cyprian's passing. As you know, he was such a good friend when I lived in Alder Point. Strange thing is I was just looking at a picture of him 2 days ago in his alter boy outfit in a parade in Alder Point taken many years ago. Take care, Sophia Jessome MacDonald
