Very sorry to hear of Donnie’s passing. I got to know Donnie while working at Lawton’s Long Term Care in Sydney. Donnie was in charge of deliveries to the Northside. He was great to talk with and enjoyed life. Donnie loved telling stories as well as buying and selling tickets. I always enjoyed seeing him. Sorry for your loss.

So sad to read that Donnie had passed...Used to speak almost every day at the port during cruise ship season. How proud he was of our Island. He told me wasn't well quite some time ago but was going to keep going as long as he could. May he RIP now and I hope it helps some to know he was well respected and did a very fine job at "selling" our Island. My deepest sympathy to you all

Marilyn and Jamie, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I still remember Donnie talking to me between innings. I wish I had the words to convey how nice Donnie was to me even though I never hit a single ball that year.
