Vivian and Family:

I am so sorry to learn of Gus's death. I always considered him to be a well informed and outstanding gentleman. I remember him building the back deck just a few years ago and he was quite capable of the job. This is how I will always remember Gus---a hard working man. May the memories you hold of the good times together help each of you as you start a new chapter in your lives. RIP Gus.

R.I.P dear friend..Though we drifted apart through the years.,you and Viv were always in my heart. Those times we had w/ the horses, Saturday T Bone Steaks,or out to Georges River..They were the best, and I thank you Gus.Somehow,I thought you would always be here, and we could have some laughs.Us,the boys, You and Viv,how many more could fit in that kitchen..As many that came through the door!!!! Take care Gus, we will all meet again

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

My deepest condolences to Viv and family on the passing of my great friend Gus, a man of many talents and wit, along with being a great storyteller, and having a great sense of humor. He and Joe Glogowski got a lot of enjoyment retelling the story(at my expense) of the time we were storm stayed one fall night in Gus's boat, tied to the rocky cliff edge of Long Island. Such great memories, not to mention the fun we had travelling back and forth to the Heavy Water Plant.
