Hi Sharon and Wayne, I am so sorry to read that your Dad has passed. I remember him and your Mom as we grew up in Sydney Mines. They were like second parents to all of us. I loved all of you, but our lives went in different directions. We were so young and I guess we never realized where our lives would take us. I lost Mom and Dad too, and it is probably the worst pain I have ever felt. So I know how you are feeling. It was so great to see you Sharon at Dad's funeral and I so wish I could be there for you. But our lives right now are a lot different from what we are used to. All we can do is hope that our lives get back to normal soon. If I get down that way over the summer, I will get in touch! Sending prayers and thinking about you and Wayne. Stay strong in all your memories of your Dad!

Sharron & Wayne & families:

I was saddened to learn of Roddie's demise. When we both worked for the Town of Sydney Mines I remember him as a calm soft spoken gentleman. I am sure Thora was waiting with open arms to welcome him. I believe that anyone who knew Roddie liked him. He was easy to like. What a legacy to leave behind. I hope these thoughts will ease your days as you continue the new chapter in your lives.

The family of Mike Steele would like to send their condolences to the Marche family during this difficult time.
Being the youngest of The Steele family I only remember my Dad always mentioning his name. After speaking with my siblings they remember him very well....working with Dad at the garage, him coming to the house on Clyde Ave. and Dad saying what a gifted mechanic he was.
So on behalf of the Steele family we wish Roddie peace and the Marche family comfort and prayers. I’m sure he and my Dad are talking mechanics in heaven right now.
Sincerely Debbie and the Steele Family 🙏
