Deborah Ann (Julian) Harris

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Deborah Ann Harris on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Debbie was born October 8, 1956, in Sydney Mines. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Loretta (Vickers) Julian.
In her earlier years, she was employed at Alder Point Fish Plant, and she volunteered at local food banks.
Debbie’s happiest times were unquestionably those that were spent with family. She was a beautiful, generous person who gave it her all and would help anyone in need at any time. She wore her heart on her sleeve. She loved to travel to Mexico with her husband.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years James (Bert), son James (Bert Jr.), daughter-in-law Tracy, and granddaughter Kelsey (David).
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her youngest son Brian Thomas and her brother Michael.
There will be no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to her family at
