We regret to announce the passing of Ronald Crawford, age 84, on Monday, December 28, 2020. Born on February 5, 1936, he was the son of the late Bill and Emma Crawford.
Ron started his mechanical career in 1953, and started with the School Board in 1970. He retired after 28 years and opened up his own auto repair shop. His passion was repairing and enjoying his motorcycles. Ron loved camping every summer with his family, and going on Sunday drives in the country.
He was the loving husband of Sharon for 55 years; father of Brenda (Sham), Ontario, Donna, Cheticamp, Rhonda, Truro, Kim, Truro, and Ronnie (Elizabeth), Saskatchewan. He was loving grandfather to Geoffrey, Timothy, Abigail, Makayla, Kelechi, Andrew, Courtney (Jon), William, Shamyra, Shivani, Ethan, Breah and Elaina, also survived by great-grandchild Damon, sister Sheila (Gary), and brother Sheldon (Heather).
Besides his parents, Ron was predeceased by brother Fred and sister Jean.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date for family. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to his family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com

I have wonderful memories of Uncle Ron teaching me how to ride a motorcycle! I remember how much fun my sister, brother and I would have as children visiting Uncle Ron with my Mom Sheila and dad Gary. I will miss him. My condolences to Aunt Sharon and all of my cousins. Love you

Dear sheila, sheldon ,sharon and kids,
i am sending my love at this most difficult time..ron and i were first cousins even tho he was 22 when i was born..i will remember his big laugh and he and his family coming to our cabin in groves point..ron was rough and tough but i reckon that was part of his charm..i enjoyed spending time with him at his garage just talking and our families and life..may you rest in peace cousin..

So sorry to hear of Ronny's passing. When I would take my van to him , he would let the kids stay in for the ride.. they loved to go to see him. I seen him recently and was talking with him. He was a joy to talk with and always made me laugh. My sincere sympathy to his wife ( who he always talked so dearly about)and his family

Ronnie was a good guy, he was a good friend of my dads , i have old pictures here of Ronnie and bikes and cars he so loved and other old pictures from when he and dad were young , christmas,s and other celebrations .
