We are so saddened to hear of Gordie's passing! Growing up on the Gannon Road, we spent many, many hours together playing road hockey and baseball. That was where he got his start - for both his illustrious hockey career and his Little League all-star trips to Quebec! So many great memories of Gordie and his family! Our deepest sympathies, our thoughts and prayers are with you all! May God bless! Rest in peace, old friend!!

Oh Nadine...how sad it was to read of Gordie's passing.  He was always so fun to be around and always had interesting things in his office that he would always say to me "Mart..if you can guess what this is..I will give you a job!"  Needless to say it was more fun listening to the history of the object!!  My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Thank You Nadine and Family for sharing Gordie with us.

He always pick back up right where he left off the last time we saw each other. A bonded friendship. I had some memorable times with Gordie. I even got the chance to see the 1978 Montreal Canadiens take the Stanley Cup at the Boston Garden because of him. Adventures with Gordie were rewarding and fun! He was a special person who will be so sorely missed.

My deepest condolences, Merrill.

So sorry to hear of Gordie's passing, such a lovely man who always made me laugh. As a young girl being hired at Marine Atlantic Gordie always showed us the ropes and was a true Leader to all who worked with him .Every Christmas I would wrap a can of sardines and give it to Gordie for a Christmas gift....he always open the gift and laughed.
Nadine and family , thinking of you all during this difficult time.
