Posted by: Jonathan Chiasson Thu January 07, 2021 | The island has lost one of it's best. Linda was a pillar to me when it came to life's challenges. I remember her presence in every major trauma in our family. This quote from her well crafted obituary: "...when not being a mom, wife, friend, and someone present for everyone, everywhere, all the time, giving of herself seemingly without limit..." This very much envelopes Linda's presence. I realize tonight that she was there for every major birth, wedding and funeral I've been involved in. She was a rock for me to lean on always, no matter what. She was the epitome thoughtfulness, strength, grit, courage, compassion, forgiveness and above all else, love. I am thinking of Lorne and Joe and everyone that loved her is so many ways. She was a rock to many of us and she will never be replaced. See you on the other side Aunt Linda. |
