I was always pleased to see him when he came for a visit with Stephen and the boys! He would always proudly mention by name his sister and four brothers .My sincerest condolences to his family who he loved dearly.May your wonderful memories of your dear brother give you comfort and strength at this difficult time. |

Sorry to here of Gordie's passing. I saw his love of animals first hand a long time ago when I was visiting the farm and he was nice enough to pic a kitten for me to take home. It was much appreciated as he was only young then. Truly a kind soul. To you and all the family my condolences . Rob Stockley |

I cant imagine the sadness and pain you feel these days as you deal with the loss of so many loved ones in your life. While I didnt know Gordie personally I remember his birth as it was well known in the family and community that his prognosis wasnt the best but he was a fighter from the beginning and your mom was the same. After reading this beautifully written obituary ( one of the best Ive ever read ) I feel I know exactly who Gordie was and how he lived his life. And how special he was to you all. The sudden loss of such an extraordinary constant in your lives is very difficult. The love and support you showed him from day one and the lessons of life he taught you guys is an inspiration to us all . During these difficult days his memory and legacy will hopefully ease some of the sense of loss you feel. As a relative and friend of the family please accept my sincere sympathy. |
