There was no woman in the world like Emma. She was so kind, compassionate, generous and endlessly patient. You could never leave her house without a candy or pop. When we drive by the house we always honk and say"Hi Nanny Doyle,"  and we always will.

To all of Emma's family; my heart aches for you. Your Mom was one of the kindest sweetest ladies I have ever known. I don't remember her ever having a cross word. Her hugs were the best. She loved all of you and was so proud of you when ever we spoke. She is in heaven now;no more worries or pain. God bless you all and know I will be thinking of you on Friday. Big hugs

Your Mother was so proud of each of you; I did not realize she had reached such an age of 90 as she did not look/act her age all these years...young at heart/mind and body!  I can still see her in church singing with us and so proud of you singing and playing was always such a pleasure to make music with you all...her spirit is nearby for sure; may all the wonderful memories sustain you during the lonesome moments - much love to you all, Judy (Donovan Whitty) PEI36

Dear Alice and ALL the family:
We were so sad to hear of Emma's passing but  know she is an Angel looking  over us all.  She was such a beautiful kind and loving woman  to all who visited at her home. We enjoyed every summer visit with Emma , Alice and all the girls.  We always left with some of her wonderfully Jelly or pickles because she was so kind to us. Emma will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Thinking of her family with love especially dear Alice...  Love Faye and Gerald Hazel
