It is with heavy hearts that we regret to announce the passing of our youngest sister “The Baby” Alice Doyle.

Alice fought a great fight to stay here with those she loved. She passed away peacefully at home, with her loving siblings around her on Friday, November 18, 2022, at the age of 57.

Born in Ingonish on February 28, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Emma (Donovan) Doyle. Alice was a member of St. Peter’s Parish, Ingonish.

Alice is survived by her sisters Agnes, Von, Jean, Cathy (Russell), Gloria (Andy), and Delia (Jackie), and her brother Donnie. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Austin, sisters Dolores and Phemia, and her loving companion Murray Stockley.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ritter, Janelle, Abby and Patricia. We would also like to thank Margaret and Jay, The Home Care / Continuing Care who have been coming in to care for Alice, and for their kindness and compassion for her.

Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Alice’s life will be held Thursday, November 24, 2022, at 1 pm in St. Peter’s Church, Ingonish, with Fr. Jonas officiating.
