Brandon James Boutilier
Brandon James Boutilier, of Millville, NS, passed away at the age of 23 in a Motor Vehicle Accident on December 23rd, 2023. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who knew him.
Brandon was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and grandson, finding immense joy in his beloved daughter, Ella Rae. He took solace in knowing that Ella had her loving mother, Mackenzie, by her side. Yet, his deepest and most profound bond was with his mother, Tanya Gillis, who affectionately referred to him as "my boy." Brandon had a unique way of keeping his mother on her toes, doing so with a mischievous smile that melted her heart, creating precious moments to be cherished.
His grandparents, Warren and Linda Gillis, were not only a source of love and inspiration but steadfast pillars of strength in Brandon's life. Their wisdom and unwavering support were a constant source of comfort, shaping the person he became.
Born to Tanya Gillis (PL) and Clarence Boutilier (Sarah), Brandon was the adored stepson of Paul Lettice. He was the grandson of Warren and Linda Gillis; and Brent and Marie Boutilier. He shared an inseparable and unbreakable bond with his siblings: Tyler (Jenna), Shelby (Aulay), Courtney (Emma), Dylan (Kass), Gabby, and Kayleah. Their connection was so strong that they were inseparable, continually creating shared memories.
Brandon's zest for life was contagious, and he radiated energy as a loving nephew, dearly missed by his aunts and uncles. He leaves countless cherished moments with his many cousins, formed by a lifetime of shared memories.
In addition to his family, Brandon leaves behind lifelong friends Matt, Ethen, Colby, and Steve-O, who stood by him through thick and thin. Their enduring friendship testified to Brandon's loyalty and the meaningful connections he fostered throughout his life.
He was predeceased by childhood friends Kobe Pink and Joneil Hanna, their memories living on in Brandon's heart. As an uncle, Brandon embraced the role with joy, leaving an indelible mark on his nephew Hazen James, proudly carrying his middle name. Additionally, he eagerly anticipated welcoming two new additions to the family in 2024.
Brandon's love for family was rivaled only by his passion for food and laughter. Whether at family gatherings, around the bonfire, on the golf course, camping out in the woods, or floating down the Margaree River, his presence added an extra layer of warmth and joy to the occasion. Brandon's infectious laughter and genuine smile will be missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in his company.
As we warmly reminisce about the vibrant life of our beloved Brandon James, let's celebrate the infectious joy he brought to our gatherings. The laughter he shared and the unforgettable moments he created will forever be etched in our hearts. Though we may feel the void now, let's find solace in the belief that we'll see him again, where his lively spirit will continue to light up our gatherings. We take comfort in knowing his energy lives on in our hearts until we meet again.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
