It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the peaceful passing of Brenton Dixon on July 4, 2025, at the age of 73. Brenton passed away with his loved ones by his side at Buchanan Memorial Hospital.
Born on March 2, 1952, Brenton was a lifelong resident of South Harbour. He was predeceased by his parents, James L. Dixon and Theresa E. (Fitzgerald) Dixon.
Brenton is survived by his brothers Nelson (Joyce), Melton (Charlene), Medrick (Carol), Myles (Jackie), and his sister Brenda. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
In keeping with Brenton’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Highland Manor and Buchanan Memorial Hospital for their kindness, compassion, and respect. A special thank you to Rev. Carolyn Sharpe of St. Andrew’s Parish, Neil’s Harbour, for her continual care and spiritual guidance.
