Bronwyn "Wendy" (MacLean) Blackie

June 11, 1951 – September 18Th, 2023

We are saddened to announce the passing of Bronwyn Wendy Blackie on September 18th, 2023 at Celtic Court, Sydney.

                Born in Sydney Mines (Shore Rd.) Wendy was the daughter of the late Alex and Olga (Reid) MacLean. Wendy loved to travel and lived in Oromocto / Fredericton, NB, Germany, Margaree in her younger years, and resided in Sydney for the past 28 years. Wendy had a heart of gold, an eye for fashion, and loved music.

                She’s survived by the father of her children, Henry, her son Andrew (Toronto) and daughter Hulda Marie (Florence), and grandchildren Marlee, Adalyn, Annika, and Levi. Brother Sheldon (Chris) Ontario, Neice, and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Beverly (Ontario).

                There will be no visitation at her request. Special Thanks to the management and staff at Celtic Court. There will be a graveside service at a later date.
