With grief and hope, we share the passing of Clare Yvonne Farnsworth, cherished mother and grandmother. Yvonne passed away at the Northside Community Guest Home on April 25th, 2025. Born in Sydney Mines, Yvonne was the daughter of the late Max and Beatrice (Hall) Cullen.
Yvonne was predeceased by her beloved husband Clifton and infant son Peter, sisters: Edna (Lew) Fiander, Mary Theresa (Lovie (Maurice)) Pyke, and Rita (Carl) MacRae, brother Jim Cullen and niece Carol Ann Guy.
Yvonne leaves behind daughter Elizabeth (Stephen) and dear grandchildren Mary, Peter, and Bridget. She is also survived by brother Bryan (Geraldine) Cullen, sister-in-law Marguerite Cullen, and many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to the exceptional TT staff at the NSCGH. Their care and comfort were outstanding.

There will be no visitation. A Mass of funeral burial will be held at 10am on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Holy Family, Sydney Mines with Fr. Fabian Ihunegbo officiating. A reception will immediately follow on site. Interment will be at a later date, at Lake Side Cemetery.
