Carolyn Agnes MacDonald (Roberts)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear sister, aunt and friend Carolyn Macdonald at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on August 2, 2022.

Carolyn was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Colburn) Roberts

 She worked at the Alder Point Fish Plant and Clearwater Fish Plant, North Sydney for 33 years. She will be missed and was loved dearly by her family. Carolyn had been residing at MacGillivray guest home for the last two years.

She is survived by brothers, George (Mary) London, Ont. Carl (Betty) George’s River, sister Marjorie Murray (Hector, deceased) Newbury, Ont. Stepsister Sherri Roberts Wong (Donald) London, Ont. Nephews, Darren Roberts (Susan), Sydney, David Roberts (Monique) Dartmouth, Allan Murray (Janice), Newbury, Ont. Nieces, Tracy (George) Hennessey, Joanne (Mike) Thompson, Ont.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by baby John, in infancy.

We would like to thank the staff of Northside homecare and VON for all the care and visits they did for her. Along with the staff of MacGillivray Guest home for the many laughs they had with her, your kindness and compassion were greatly appreciated.

We would also like to thank the Doctors and staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for all the phone calls and the time you spent with Carolyn.
