Carolyn Mae Maxwell
It is with a broken heart that I announce the passing of my sister Carolyn, age 75, on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Florence, she was one of six daughters of the late Henry and Madeline (Mulley) Maxwell. Carolyn was an adherent of the United Church of Canada.
Carolyn’s entire working life was in the healthcare field, and although retired, she was always willing to help when asked, including a few weeks before her passing. Carolyn was a very private person, respected and loved by her family, friends, and co-workers.
Left to mourn her loss is sister Jeanie. Brother-in-law Martin Plumstead, best friend, Marylyn Shaikh, her nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles whom she was so fond of.
Carolyn was the perfect friend and sister, loyal and caring. Judges no one and helped many in her own quiet way.
At her request there will be no visitation or service, Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.M. Jobes Funeral Home.
Matthew 25:23
His Lord said unto him
Well done god and faithfull servant
You are a Perfect Friend
You have known me in good and bad times
You have seen me when I was sad
You have listened to me when what I was Intelligent
And when I talked nonsense.
You have been with me when we had fun
And when we were miserable
You have watched me laugh and cry
You have understood me when I knew what I was doing
And when I made mistakes
Thank you for believing in me
For supporting me
And for always being ready to share thoughts together
You are a perfect friend
