Christoper Morrison

It is with a heavy heart that we announce Chris's peaceful passing on Friday, October 4th, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Chris was the son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Morrison.

Chris was born and raised in Sydney Mines and Little Pond. He made his home here and in St. Catherine, with the last twenty years in Ontario. Chris worked for many years on the Great Lakes. Chris carried the burden of his addictions for many years throughout his life, but in the last several years, he has finally been free from them.

                Chris is survived by his sons Robert, Christopher, and Shane and daughter Hailey. Also left to mourn his passing are his brother Paul (Joanne) Sydney Mines, Sister Michelle Tremblett, and sister-in-law Hilda Morrison B.C., as well as many nieces and nephews.

                Besides his parents, he was predeceased by the mother of his sons, Robert and Christopher, Tracey Baxter. His brothers Terry, David, Michael, and John Tobert. Sisters Cathy and Casilda. Nephews Christopher and brother-in-law Terry Tremblett.

                Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
