Christopher Raymond Gerrow

             It is with great sadness that we, the family, regret to announce Christopher Raymond Gerrow's passing on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, at the QEII hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

            Son of the Later Raymond Seymour and Paulette Gerrow, Chris was born and raised in Florence, NS, with his brother Gregory Gerrow, sister Kaitlyn Seymour, and cousin Vicki Gerrow, who are left to mourn the loss of their brother and cousin.

            Chris also leaves behind the mother of his children, Kathleen Cousins, and two beautiful sons, Hayden and Jordan Cousins, who were his pride and joy. The time they spent together playing Xbox and riding bikes were some of Chirs’s happiest days, which they spoke of often and bonded the three of them with lasting memories for both his boys.

            The family would like to express its gratitude to the ICU staff and team at the QEII hospital, whose efforts and professionalism over this challenging time have offered a great deal of comfort to his entire family.

            Cremation has taken place; a Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20th, from 1 to 3 at JM Jobes Funeral Home, Main Street, Sydney Mines. A funeral service will take place immediately after the visitation at 3 pm.  A private family burial will take place at a later date.
