Clayton Wilfred Herridge
February 17, 1973-December 10, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Clayton Herridge of
North Sydney on December 10 th , 2022, at the age of 49. He was the son of Angelina and
Everett Herridge.
He will lovingly be remembered by his wife, Raylene Herridge, 3 step sons, Mitchell MacKinnon
(wife Justine deceased), Matthew MacKinnon, and Aaron Poirier. Two grandchildren whom he
adored and loved, Nixon MacKinnon and Lennex MacKinnon. Special Sister-in-law, Paula
Murphey and very special friends Eric and Kelly MacKinnon, along with Blair Shebi.
Clayton is survived by his sons, Clayton Smith (Chrissy), and Matthew Herridge (Britney); Brothers;
George (Ruby), Greg (Bobby), Steven, Jason (Normajean), Everett (Nancy); Sister; Angie and
many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Clayton was predeceased by maternal Grandparents Rita and Bernard MacDonald and paternal.
Grandparents Rebecca and George Herridge.

Clayton kept people rolling in laughter because he could humour in the most mundane life
circumstances.

Please don’t mourn for me now, don’t mourn for me never; I’m going to do nothing forever and ever.

Cremation has taken place; visitation will take place between 1 pm-2 pm on Friday, December 16th, 2022
with service to follow at J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines. Following the service, a reception will be held at the North Sydney Fire Hall.
