Daniel Charles LeBlanc (Chuckles) passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, January 3, 2021 in Big Bras d’Or, at the age of 66.
Born in North Sydney on February 27, 1954, he was the son of the late Edith Lorraine LeBlanc & Morris LeBlanc.
Danny loved to be outdoors, weather he was fishing, hunting or having a fire, he always had a smile on his face. If he is wasn’t tormenting his brothers and sisters, you could find him fixing something like an old stereo or watching the hockey game cheering on his Toronto Maple Leafs.
A devoted father to his son Tyler (Sophie) and daughter Nicole (Frazer), and proud Grampy to Hudsen and Hunter. Danny has joined his soulmate, who he missed dearly, Christina (Tena) Alderson in heaven.
Danny is survived by his six brothers, Maurice (Christine), Frankie (Ona), Donnie (Janet), Gary (Debbie), Louis (Dawn) & Art, as well as three sisters, Cathy (Maurice), Theresa and Pat.
Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews and their children, whom were all close to his heart and loved dearly.
The funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Church in Little Bras d’Or, on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 10.30 am. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives at 10 am. We ask that you please respect all

We little knew that morning, that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day that God called home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
