David Kuchurean

With great sadness, we announce the passing of David Kuchurean of Sydney Mines, on November 30th, 2023, in Northside General Hospital.

 Born in Sydney Mines on January 26, 1953, David was the son of the late Elizabeth and Michael Kuchurean. David was a proud coal miner working for Devco for many years. He loved spending his summers in Ingonish on the beach and camping, his winter trips to Cuba, and his grandchildren, who will miss him terribly. David is predeceased by his wife and the love of his life, Jacquelaine (Jackie) Kuchurean. He is survived by his sister, Susan (Jon David), and children, Sarah (Jason), Adam (Kayleigh), and Michael (Karen). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, whom he loved very much: Lucas, Grace, Jake, Tyler, Lila, Caroline, and Teagan.

The family would like to thank all healthcare staff, friends, and family who have provided care, love, and support.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 1:00-3:00 pm, at J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines.
