Family, loved ones and friends have lost Georgina Frances (Grimmer) Robinson, age 79, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She peacefully passed away at home with her husband Wallace by her side on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

Georgina, the eldest of six children was born in Essex, England on December 2, 1943, to Henry & Frances (Snowden) Grimmer. She immigrated to Canada in 1945 and was raised in New Brunswick. 

Georgina is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wallace John Robinson, and her children, Catrina (Brad) and Wallace (Nadia). She is also survived by grandchildren Jarrid (Natali), William, and Chloe along with brothers Barry (Cindy) and Donald (Gail), and sisters Shirley and Rosemary (Jack). 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert.

Family and friends are invited to join her celebration of life at J.M. Jobes Funeral Home located at 635 Main Street in Sydney Mines, NS on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 3-4 pm. The memorial will be available virtually via Zoom.

Family and friends are welcome to join us for the continuation of her celebration of life at her home at 27 Convent Street, Sydney Mines post the memorial service.
