Ian Graham MacLeod
September 28, 1960 - March 20, 2022
Cape North
There are no words to express how heartbroken we are to announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Graham MacLeod.
Graham was born in Neil’s Harbour to his loving parents Bobby and Ellen. He is survived by his mother Ellen, sisters Marie (Charlie) Fitzgerald and Cathy (Bruce) MacDonald, and his dog Carla. Graham was predeceased by his father Robert John MacLeod, brother David and nephew Mason. He will forever be “Uncle Gray” to Charlene (Colin), Kendra (Jason), Bobby (Sierra), Kelsi, Jenna (Graham), Logan, Drew, Sarah (Makayla), Ian, Tallon, Jolie, Irelyn, Isla, Marshall, Tatum, Ian & Caellum MacLeod, Nathan & Maggi Courtney.
Graham enjoyed the simple pleasures in life; gardening, fishing, cross-country skiing, playing the guitar, card games with friends, listening to music, family potlucks and taking pictures while on adventures, especially with his cousin Wendell Tingley. Graham always made time to stop and chat with everyone he encountered during his daily drives. Graham spent many years on the water harvesting mussels with his cousin and lifelong friend Darrell. He enjoyed his time spent in Neil’s Harbour with his “work family” at Victoria Co-op Fisheries. Graham will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, May 3 2022, at the Aspy Bay United Church, with the funeral to follow at 2pm. Words of comfort may be forwarded to his family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
A limb has fallen
from the family tree that says
grieve not for me.
Remember the best times,
the laughter, the song,
the good life I lived,
While I was strong.
