Helen Pauline Hopkins (Magnan)

It is with great sadness that, we the family, announce the sudden passing of the late Helen Pauline Hopkins (Magnan), age 63, on Monday, October 14th, 2022, of Crosslake/Berens River, Manitoba.  She was born in North Sydney, NS and was the daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Haggett) Magnan.  Pauline was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Hopkins.  She graduated from Memorial High School, Sydney Mines, NS and worked in the hotel management industry in various positions throughout her career.  Pauline’s greatest joy was spending time with her son Max and with her family and many friends.

                Pauline is survived by her son Kenneth Maxwell Hopkins, Crosslake, MB, sisters D. Marina (John) Arellano, AR, Debbie (Spencer) Magnan, AB, Brenda (Angus) McCormick, AB, and brother Arnold (Judy) Magnan.  She is also survived by her nephews and nieces, John Magnan, AB, Miranda McCormick, AB, Kelsey (Brandon) O’Toole, Adam and Shawn Magnan and her great nephew Easton O’Toole.

                Cremation has taken place; a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
