James Timothy Cousins (Goat)

 With deep sadness, we, the family of James (Goat) Timothy Cousin, announce his passing on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.

Born in North Sydney on November 12, 1963, Goat was the son of Claire Cousins and the late John Cousins.

Goat spent most of his working life sailing the Great Lakes on the lake boats. He loved to watch hockey and was a dedicated Boston Bruins fan.

He is survived by his mother, Claire, and children, Timothy, Dakota, Cameron, Curtis, and Courtney. Siblings: Laura Miller (Allen), Jay (Ruth), Denise (Phillip), Corkey (Jackie), Stephanie (Jerry). Along with his beloved friend Judy Dawe.

Besides his father, Goat was predeceased by his brother Patrick.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Nurse Brennan and Dr. Robert.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 23rd, from 10-11, followed by a service at 11 a.m. Services will be held at J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main Street, Sydney Mines.
