It is with great sadness the family of Jim Hardy announce his passing on February 20, 2024, while resting peacefully at home with his loved ones by his side. 

Born in Rose Blanche, Newfoundland, on June 8th, 1948, Jim was the son of the late James and Elsie (Hatcher) Hardy and was predeceased by his siblings, Eileen Howell and Beaulah MacDonald. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Debbie (Rideout) Hardy and by his children; Kim (Gerard) Jessome, James Hardy, and Dan (Dawn) Hardy; and his loving grandchildren.  

Our family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the palliative care staff and Dr. Langley for their kind support.  And a special thanks to his best friend Bob Jackson for the many comforting visits over these last few years.
