It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our loving wife, daughter and sister, Joanne Sampson, 59, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, after a lengthy, courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

We take great comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her loving son, Robert. Together they now will walk, run and dance hand in hand. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 45 years, Wintworth Sampson, her mother Bertha, sister Cathy (Rick), and her brother Jimmy, all in Halifax. She also leaves behind her caregivers Lisa Buffet and Venessa Forrest.

She was predeceased by her father James Boudreau and her son Robert.

Her family would like to thank Dr Eugene Ignacio and Danielle, and the VON for all the care giver to Joanne over the years. There will be no visitation or funeral. Words of comfort may be forwarded to her family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
