Leeon Jerrett Roberts

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leeon Jerrett Roberts on February 10, 2025, just shy of his 57th birthday. Born on February 20, 1968, he was the beloved son of the late Ernest Roberts and Myrtle (Hewlett) Roberts.
Leeon worked as a taxi driver, a job that allowed him to connect with many people in his community. He was known for his friendly nature, warm conversations, and willingness to help others. He loved nothing more than a cold Pepsi, a good old smoke, and a coffee to start the day.
He is survived by his loving partner, Judy Dawe; his stepchildren, Chad, Kile, and Brittany; his children, son Jerrett and daughter Jenny Lee; and his cherished grandson, Joshua, whom he thought the world of. He also leaves behind his brothers, Lloyd, Brian, Tony, and Leroy and sisters Norma, Linda, Kay, Beverly, Donna, Paula, Allison and Blanch
He was predeceased by his sister Joanne, his brother Larry, and a daughter who passed in infancy.
Leeon was fortunate to have two great friends, Paul in Newfoundland and Dave Power in Sydney Mines, who stood by him through the years.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Kathy Carey for all her help and friendship, and to Skylee Davidson for being there during difficult times.
A visitation and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Services will be held at and have been entrusted to JM Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main Street, Sydney Mines, NS.
Leeon will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and deep love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
