We regret to announce the passing of Linda Marlene MacLean, age 73, on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Florence on May 9, 1949, Linda was the daughter of the late Allan and Kay (Birmingham) MacLean.
Linda faced many obstacles in life and has been a resident of St. Anne’s Bay, Harbourstone, for ten years, and received excellent care. Her favourite activity was working on her math and puzzle books. She also loved animals, especially dogs.
Marlene is survived by her sister Nancy (Terry) Haley, her nephew Allan Haley, and her nieces Katy Haley and Terri Lynn Timmons.
There will be no visitation or funeral. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Words of comfort may be forwarded to her family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
