  It is with broken hearts we announce that Linda passed away at home Sunday July 17th after a 3 year battle with cancer, her strength and determination were an example of the amazing, strong and resilient woman she was. Linda was 75 years old and the wonderful loving mother of four children, three step-children, fourteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Linda was born in Neils Harbour and enjoyed hairdressing for over 50 years, she loved to read, knit, crochet and do puzzles, she resided in Cape North with her husband for the past 32 years. Linda was dearly loved and cherished by all her family, friends, and community.

Linda is lovingly remembered by her husband Duval Tingley, her children, Les (Francis) Linton, Lorne (Penny) Linton, Jim Linton, Nancy (Jim) Pidgen, Step-children, Paul Tingley, Mark (Elisha) Tingley, Robin Tingley, her grandchildren, William, Kimberly, Jaidden, Christopher, Jennifer, Carrie, Chantelle, Joceyln, Memie, Cameron, Logan, Camryn, Lincoln, Gavin as well as her great grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Brock, Lucas, Alyssa, Sharann-Angel, Rocco, Annabelle, and Lillian.

Linda will be dearly missed by her siblings, Elsie (Ambros) Engram, Albert (Shirley) Ingram, Nancy (Paul) Fahie, Carter (Joan) Ingram, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. Linda is predeceased by her parents Clarence and Irene Ingram.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service on Saturday July 23rd at 1pm at St. Andrews Anglican Church in Neils Harbour.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Andrew’s Church or Canadian Cancer Society.
