It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Loretta (Brown) Colburn, 82, on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Miner’s Memorial Manor, where she had resided for the last 7 years. Loretta was a long-time employee of Sobeys in both North Sydney and Sydney Mines.
She is survived by sons Derrick and Tim (Cheryl); grandchildren Holly (Tomi), Claire, and Kent.
She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd.
Visitation for Loretta Colburn will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 1-3 pm in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. A celebration of her life will take place at 3 pm in the funeral home. Words of comfort may be forwarded to her family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
