Margaret Bernadette MacDonald

Margaret Bernadette MacDonald, age 69, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2023 at The Cove

Guest Home.

Bernadette was born in Sydney Mines on August 7, 1953 to the late Alex (Lally)

and Theresa Walker MacDonald.

Bernadette loved music, singing and playing the guitar and enjoyed being part of her church choirs. She had fun going to bingo with her aunt Margaret and spending time with her aunt Marie.

 She is survived by her sister Joan (Wayne) Kingston ON, twin brother Terry (Debbie) Yarmouth, brother Blair (Anne) Yarmouth, uncle Neil (Beulah) MacDonald Florence. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bernadette was predeceased by her parents and older brother, Donald

The family would like to thank the staff at The Cove for their care of Bernadette during her time there. Cremation has taken place under the care of Jobes Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 10,2023 at 11 am. Burial will take place in St Stephens Parish Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
