Murray Jessome passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on October 24, 2023, at the age of 63.
Born in Sydney Mines. Murray was the son of the late Thomas and Florence Jessome. He was a fisherman his whole life and later worked with the Ballast Ground Fisheries and then Brogan Fisheries. Murray Loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, a love he instilled and shared with his three boys. He was also a proud Poppa. He always had treats on hand and looked forward to his grandchildren's visits.
Survived by his loving wife, Wanda (Forrest) Jessome. Murray was so proud of his three boys, Cory (Charmaine), Murray Paul (Lisa), and his own personal Nurse, Wade (Niki). His precious grandkids Madison, Noah, Nolan, Hunter, Jemma & Jaiden. Brothers Thomas (Christine), Archie (Gwenna) and Lorne. Murray was also survived by his special uncle Jimmy Jessome and a number of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and friends and co-workers.
Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his sister, Elizabeth Marie, in infancy. Mother and Father-in-law George and Annette Forrest, Grandparents Archie Donald & Helen MacKinnon and Patrick & Viola Jessome, special uncle Hector MacKinnon.
