Patricia (Patsy) Joan Gerrow
October 19, 1953 - April 25, 2024
It is with broken hearts the family announces the passing of Patricia Joan Gerrow of Sydney Mines, on Thursday, April 25th at the age of 70 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Patricia worked for many years with Canada Post in the office and eventually delivering mail. It was on her routes she met a lot of friends she often spoke fondly about to her family.
Middle River always held a special place in Patsy’s heart and she spent many of her earlier years on the Yankee Line as well as later with her family and friend’s. Her children continue to carry on the love of such as special place.
Patsy is survived by her son Curtis (Carrie) Gerrow and Carrie’s son Logan, daughter Erin (Tony) Gerrow, sisters Margie (Larry) Clark, and Beverly (Jim) Klimchuk, father of her children Roddie (Elaine) Gerrow, sister in law Joan (Cameron) MacIsaac, brother in law Gordon (Brenda) Gerrow, nieces and nephews Julie, Jenna, Melissa, Daniel, Nicole, Kristi, and Kara, along with several great nieces and nephews. Patsy’s greatest treasure in life was her children as well as her fur grand babies which she will be missed by dearly. She is also survived by a few close friends, including with special mention and thanks, Shirley Haggett. Also, Robbie Hancock whom she loved like a son.
She was predeceased by her father John Michael MacMullin, mother and best friend Phyllis MacMullin, brother Jack MacMullin, father in law Russell Gerrow, and mother in law Janet Gerrow.
A special thanks to Dr. Michele Mckeough and Louise for their care and compassion over the years as well as Dr. Gordon Yeung the staff of the Cape Breton Hospital Renal Clinic.

Cremation has taken place, A visitation and celebration of life will be held at J.M. Jobes Funeral Home on Wednesday May 8th, 2024 from 2-4 with a service following at 4 pm.
