Patricia A. (Collins) Gouthro

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Patricia A. Gouthro, who left us peacefully on Saturday, March 15th, 2025, in North Sydney at the age of 75.
Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Richard and Vera Collins. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of over 50 years, Aloysius Gouthro, as well as her brothers Dennis (Lois) and Fred (Betty), and her sisters Norrine and Beth.
A loving mother, Patricia will be deeply missed by her children Melanie (Tim) and Mark (Danny); her cherished grandchildren Matthew (Rhiannon) and Cassandra (Rachael); and her precious great-grandson, who brought her so much joy. She also leaves behind her niece and "bonus daughter" Patty, along with many other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.
Patricia was the kindest soul we knew—gentle, caring, and always full of love. She had a beautiful spirit, a joyful laugh, and a special fondness for dancing and cheering on her beloved Blue Jays.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor the incredible woman she was.
Our family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Regional and Northside Hospitals, and a special note of gratitude to the wonderful team at Harbourview Rehab for their care and compassion during Patricia’s time with them.
She may be gone from our sight, but she will remain forever in our hearts.
