Also left to mourn are his siblings Carolyn, Delaware, Terry (Jane), Cambridge Ont., David (Mary), Dartmouth NS Emmerson (Heather), Dartmouth NS, Paddy (Carmel) Quispamsis NB, Sylvia (Owen) Meadow Lake, Sask., Stevie, Ingonish Arthena (Russell) Prince Albert Sask., and Lee (Pat) Ingonish, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Besides his parents, Paul is predeceased by his brother-in-law, Robert (Carolyn) Lipkin.
The family would like to thank the staff of 4B and the palliative care unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for their concern and the care Paul received during his hospital stay. The family would also like to thank the ALS Society of Alberta, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.
A special thanks to the ‘sitters’ who attended to Paul during his time in 4B at Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Arrangements are under the direction of J.M. Jobes Funeral Home of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia. At Paul’s request, there will be no visitation, and a private family burial service is planned for a later date. Donations can be made to the ALS Society of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
