Penny Ann Roberts

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Penny Ann Roberts on October 14, 2025, at the age of 60.

Penny was the beloved daughter of Sharon and Paul MacCrimmon, and was predeceased by her father, Ken Roberts, in 1985. A devoted mother, she leaves behind her five children — Shannon, Nikki, Keegan, Duncan, and Ashton — and five cherished grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

She shared many meaningful years with her companion, Ben Bates, whose presence and support were a source of great comfort to her. Penny is also survived by her loving sisters, Angie Roberts and Mistie Roberts; her aunts, Sandy and Pat; her uncle Rick; and the extended Roberts family of Yarmouth.

Penny will be remembered for her fierce will, quiet strength, and deep love for her family and friends. She faced life’s challenges with grace and a resilient spirit, always finding reasons to laugh, to love, and to keep going. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support touched all who knew her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

A service to celebrate Penny’s life will be announced by the family at a later date.
