Russell James Musgrave

It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Russel James Musgrave on Friday, March 7th, 2025, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. 
Born in Frenchvale, Russell was the son of the late William Thomas and Marie (McInnis) Musgrave and came from a large family with his siblings, Wayne, Floyd, Gary, Debbie, David, Darrell, and Buddy. Late Brian and Kevin. 
Russell was predeceased by his loving wife, the late Colleen Loretta (Budge) Musgrave. They have one daughter, Jaime (Billy) Grove, who was by his side day and night during his final days.
Russ enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, hunting, and cycling. He was a hard worker and businessman who owned and operated an insulation company until 1996, when he began a second career working out west before settling into his retirement with his wife, Colleen, in Kempt Head, Cape Breton.
Even though his health was failing, Russel fought a strong fight, as was his nature. As per his wishes, there will be no formal funeral service; a private family service will be held at a later date.
