It is with broken hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Timothy Wayne Warren, 48, at home in Sydney Mines, on Sunday, February 7, 2021, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Sydney Mines, he was the youngest child of Patricia and the late Hector Warren. Tim enjoyed going for long drives in his truck and adventuring the Bras d’Or Lakes in his boat. What he cherished most was spending time with his family, friends, and pets, Sam, Charlie, and Ghost. He was the type of friend who would do anything for you and was always just a phone call away. No matter what kind of day you were having, you could count on Tim to make it better.
He will forever be remembered by his loving fiancé, Lucy Hein; his pride and joy children, Megan (Andrew) Warren, and Shane (Kiersten) McLean; siblings, Joanne and Darrell (Beverly) Warren; grandchild, Ethan Capstick; special nephews and nieces, Nicholas (Kayla) Warren, Tonya (Troy) MacIntyre, Gregory (Adam) Brougham, Morgan, Kayla, Hannah, and Matthew Warren; great nephews and nieces, Bentley Warren, Tianna and Alexis MacIntyre; special brothers, Robert (Amy) and John Reynolds, and their children Jenna (daughter Riley), Kristen, Robert Jr., Alyssa (son Malcolm), Kyle, Emily and Ryan Reynolds.
Welcoming him at Heavens’ gate are his father Hector, brother Hector Jr., and brother-in-law, Harold Brougham.
Thank you to all the staff at of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, VON, Dr. Guy, and Dr. Langley for the ongoing support throughout Tim’s illness.
There will be no visitation. As per Tim’s wishes, a private family service has taken place.
Memorial donations may be made to CBRH Palliative Care Unit, or the Cape Breton Cancer Center. Online condolences may be sent to www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
