Vivian Walsh Obituary

Vivian (Collier) Walsh

August 13, 1926 – December 3, 2023

It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our mom, Vivian, on December 3rd, 2023, at the Northside Guest Home (Theresa Terrace) with her loving family at her side.

She was born August 13th, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Jenny and Bill Collier. Mom was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family unconditionally.

Mom loved spending time with her family in George’s River, swimming and basking in the sun. She loved to bake, and her door was always open to come in and sit down, have a cup of tea and a baked good., that she had just made. Her latest enjoyment was her walks on the beach and her swing in the backyard. She spent countless days outside on it, talking to family and neighbors who would drop by for a visit.

Mom is survived by her son Gerald (Maria), daughter-in-law Karen Aucoin, and grandchildren Jason, Trevor, Devin, and Blake. Great-granddaughters Kacey, Carlie, and Brooke (James). Great-Great- Granddaughters Alexis and Ellie. As well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, her mom was predeceased by her husband Augustine Walsh, daughter Geraldine, and sons Donnie, Bobby, and Kevin. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by sister Beatrice and brother Flloyd.

We would like to thank all the staff of Theresa Terrace at the Northside Community Guest Home for your kindness, care, and compassion for our mother during her stay. You made our journey along with Mom so much easier, and we felt at home, as did our mother. We will be forever grateful for your kindness. Thank you to the sitters who spent so much time with Mom. We would also like to thank Doctor Browne for the wonderful care you gave to Mom.

There will be no visitation or service.

Rest in Peace, Mom, you will be dearly Missed.
