William Blair Porter

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Billy Porter on Thursday, April 21st, 2023, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Billy was the son of the late Colin Francis Porter and Margarite Kernick Porter (Step- Father Duncan White)
He was a past employee of the CBRSB as well as Devco
He is survived by two daughters, Rachelle Porter and Nicole (Justin) Humphrey, and two grandchildren. Sisters, Marina (Joe) Robertson, Noell (Jim) Williams and Brothers, Gary (Brenda), David (Sherry), Greg (Agnes), Curtis (Rosemary), and Brent (Carson), as well as a number of Nieces and Nephews.
Besides his parents, Billy is predeceased by his sister Gail Jessome, Brother Randy, and grandparents Theodore Roslie Porter and Bertha Quinn Archibald Kernick.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Donations can be made to the Charity of choice.
