After a short stay at the Northside General Hospital, Yvonne Roberts
completed her stay on Earth, Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Her soul was set free to
go to her heavenly home. Her family was by her side during her time in
hospital, where she received the best of care.

Yvonne was born in Sydney on April 10, 1928 and was in her 93rd year.  
She is survived by her devoted husband Harold Roberts, and  blended
family of loving  children - Mike (Leigh) Johnson, Norman (Janice)
Johnson, Judy (Frank) McKittrick, Ruth (Ken) Marshall and Beth Roberts.

Nine grandchildren and fourteen great -grandchildren  were a  comfort
and delight for Yvonne.

Her church family, the people of Clyde Avenue Baptist Church,  have been
a source of friendship and spiritual support.

The family would like to express their gratitude to   Dr. John Kirkpatrick for his many years of   care  until his  retirement and to Dr. Alex Wawer for his special assistance in recent days.  We would also like to thank the wonderful caregivers who have supported Yvonne each evening for the last two years.

A private family funeral occurred at the Clyde Avenue Church, conducted by Pastor Brian Barron, with burial at the Brookside Cemetery, Sydney Mines.
