Tracey Joy Rideout
Sydney Mines

It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we, the family of Tracey Rideout, age 44, announce her passing on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in North Sydney on December 12, 1973, Tracey was the daughter of Donnie and Dolores (Campbell) Rideout.
Tracey worked for many years at Lloyd MacDonald’s Car dealership, and also at Travel Lodge.  She really enjoyed shopping with her Mom, especially the bus tours to Bangor and Halifax.
Besides her parents, Tracey is survived by her husband Doug MacDonald, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Bond and Myrtle Rideout, and maternal grandparents John Neil and Catherine Campbell.
Her family would like to thank family and friends who helped and supported them during her illness.
Visitation for Tracey Rideout will be held in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Main St., Sydney Mines on Friday, April 27, 2018, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Fr. James Oliver officiating. A reception will be held at the Sydney Mines Senior’s and Pensioners Club, following the service.
